The venue should ideally provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">The ability to dance throughout the night without interruptions, shutdowns, or noise complaints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Reliable power and lighting systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Good air conditioning to keep participants comfortable during the event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">A reliable sound system, ideally including microphones for announcements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">A stage or raised platform for the instructor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Space for at least 30 overnight dancers at the front of the room, as well as a larger number of drop-in dancers in the main dance area (total capacity of about 100)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Room for a desk for timekeepers, witnesses, and photographers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Space for food and beverage tables<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">A dedicated warm-up and cool-down area for drop-in dancers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">A large wall-mounted monitor or display<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Sufficient restroom facilities for all participants<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Accessible changing facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li style=\"text-transform:none\">Suitable locations for video-recording equipment and cameras<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, we would ideally like access to the venue one day per week during April and May for training sessions and logistical preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you know of a venue that may be suitable, please contact us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently searching for a suitable venue that can accommodate the event and our participants comfortably.
