Training Event Rules

Based on the experiences and feedback from the first two trainings, we have developed a few rules for our training events to make sure everyone can enjoy themselves for five, six, seven or eight hours.

1. Picking a spot
Please try to stay in one spot during the dance segment – moving around means other people have to move around as well and people have complained about it

2. Videos and Privacy
Please respect that some people don’t want to be in other people’s videos, especially on social media – if you would like to film yourself, please stay on the side of “video” side of the room

3. Choreography
Please follow Cristian’s choreography – one of the Guinness World Record rules is that the participants follow the instructors. If you prefer to improvise, please pick a spot at the back of the room

4. Turning up the heat!

We all appreciate people raising spirits and making noise, but in past trainings, it got a little too much for some people – and we would like everyone to be happy. As a guideline, Cristian will pick songs to make some noise – feel free to join those, and maybe don’t make every song a loud one…

5. Break etiquette:

a) please try to stick to the break schedule and be back in your spot when the music starts – figuring out how to spend the break time is part of these training sessions

b) try to eat only during breaks – figuring out how much to eat to keep you going for one or two hours is an important part of practice

c) Cristian needs the breaks to drink, eat, change and stretch. We understand you want to talk to him and take pictures, but please save that for before and after the event. Please let him use his breaks for himself – his instructor job is challenging enough 😉
