Training Sessions – FAQ

Some frequently asked questions about our training events!

Are these trainings only for instructors?

No! Everyone is welcome, you don’t have to be an instructor, you don’t need to want to attempt to dance for 26 hours, you can just join us and have fun in an extra-long Zumba-class – and support the project in the process!

Can I join at any time?

Yes! You don’t have to start in the beginning, you are welcome to buy for any time of the training and join at any time you like!

If I join for 2 or 3 hours, will the songs just repeat? Will I get to hear all the songs?

Cristian’s song repertoire covers about 100 songs for a total of about 5.5 hours, so you will not hear all the songs in 2-3 hours. We explicitly avoid repetitions within three hours, so you shouldn’t hear the same song repeatedly within a few hours – we’re also shuffling the playlist to keep things interesting. You can find all the information about our playlist here!

You’re only offering tickets for up to four hours, but I want to stay for longer, can I do that?

We’re offering a range of tickets to ensure that everyone can join for as long as they like! If you would like to stay for more than four hours, please combine two tickets:

  • for 5 hours: 1 + 4 hours
  • For 6 hours: 2 + 4 Hours
  • For 7 hours: 3 + 4 Hours

While tickets are still available!

You’re only offering tickets for 2 or more hours, but I only want to join for one specific hour – can I do that?

We can try to make that happen – if you need a time slot currently not available, e-mail us under ZumbaWorldRecordVancouver@gmail.com and we’ll try to help!

Can I just drop in?

We’d really prefer if you didn’t – registering online will help us to make sure we’re within the venue’s capacity and it also helps us to track waivers, attendance etc.

If you are struggling to register online, please get in touch with us at ZumbaWorldRecordVancouver@gmail.com
and we can find a solution that works for you.

Technically, if there are spots available, you can try to drop in … but we’d really prefer if you registered online!

Do I need to bring food?

Please see our packing list for information about what to bring, but yes: we will bring a few snacks, but please bring something you want to eat – we won’t be able to provide enough food for everyone at each training event.
We’re also curious to see what you bring and what we should consider for the actual event – you can find some information and suggestions here!

I don’t want to be in any videos – can I avoid that?

Yes! At our events, we divide the room in two parts:

One side with people who are happy to show up in videos,
One side with people who aren’t.

If you stay on the side with the camera-shy people, we will do our best to make sure you don’t show up in anyone’s videos!
